Actions

1. Dispels wind-dampness & strengthens the sinews & bones: for chronic wind-cold-damp painful obstruction when chronic dificiency of the Liver & Kidneys generates weak or soft sinews & bones. This herb is especially useful when the smooth flow of qi & blood is obstructed. It is particularly suitable for treating the elderly, & for developmental delays in the motor function of children.

2. Transforms dampness & reduces swelling: for urinary difficulty, edema, & damp-cold leg qi.

Cautions

Use with caution in cases of yin deficiency with heat signs.
