1. Clears the Lungs, relieves fire toxicity, & improves the condition of the throat: for fire toxin affecting the throat causing pain, swelling, & loss of voice. Also cough due to Lung heat.

2. Stops bleeding: used topically to stop bleeding, most often in the oral cavity or lips; also for bleeding gums associated with frostbite.
