Dosage 3-9g, pwdr most effective	Actions 1. Disperses blood stasis, unblocks menstruation, & promotes lactation: for amernorrhea, dysmenorrhea, & lack of or insufficient lactation due to blood stasis. 2. Reduces swelling & promotes discharge of pus: for toxic swellings such as abscesses & boils. While it can dissolve as yet unformed pus, it is more useful in promoting the healing of suppurative lesions. For this purpose it can be applied topically. 3. Expels wind-dampness from the channels: for pain due to painful obstruction, stiffness or spasms in the limbs, or pain that prevents bending & stretching.	Meridians Liver, Stomach	Cautions Contraindicated during pregnancy. Use with caution in cases of deficiency, & where sores have already ulcerated.
