English Translation: Six Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia
Formula Type: Nourish and Tonify the Yin
Actions: Enriches the yin & nourishes the Kidneys.
Indications: Soreness & weakness in the lower back, lightheadedness, vertigo, tinnitus, diminished hearing, night sweats, spontaneous & nocturnal emissions, a red tongue with little coating, & a rapid, thin pulse. The patient may also present with a variety of other symptoms including hot palms & soles, a chronic dry & sore throat, toothache, or wasting & thirsting disorder.
Contraindications: This formula has cloying properties & should be used with caution in cases with indigestion, diarrhea due to Spleen deficiency, or white, greasy tongue coating.
